If Launching over Gleba, be sure you have the ability to quickly build the platform. Each of these caps out at about 400 calcite/m over Gleba and 40/m over Nauvis (less & smaller asteroids). I got tired of using cargo space on calcite so started this. They've been running stable for a couple days now without interference.

The solar only version functions on a hysteresis loop and will enable / disable most production as required to keep ammo on the belts and the platform from taking damage.
